2026 at a glance...

August 2026

Team E is very passionate about having accessible defibrillators in the community.  Good friend of the Foundation and touch footy teammate, Rhys Hoole is a living example of why.  4 years ago at only 23 years of age, Rhys had a cardiac arrest and collapsed on the footy field.  Thanks to a defib being accessible at the ground that night, Rhys is here to share his incredible story.  He is without doubt a miracle man, having gone on to have a heart transplant only a couple of years ago to be back playing touch with our Brave Hearts team!

We were thrilled to have Rhys join us to donate a couple of very special defibs to Premier City Touch Football.  Having these life saving devices available to not only the players, but also spectators, referees and volunteers is incredibly important to everyone at Team E.

Thanks to Di and Lachlan from Premier City Touch for their appreciation and support of the Foundation.
